Recommendations for Preparing a Shed Site

STEP 1

Insure accessibility to the proposed site.

Check for low hanging tree limbs and be sure to measure between fence posts, trees, house overhangs, houses or any other permanent objects.

Allow a minimum of 6″ in addition to your shed width to insure access.

Note that WayCo Structures, LLC and associates are NOT responsible for damage to underground sewer and utilities in addition to any damage to yards or surroundings.

Bringing the building completed is preferred and more cost effective, however, we do offer a build on site option for an additional fee if the site is not accessible.

STEP 2

Prepare a site for your structure. It is recommended that you have a level crushed limestone base, (something that will compact) to set your shed on, especially any larger buildings, garages, or porch buildings.

Your pad must be level to insure full support on all ground runners from one end to the other.

In the event that a gravel pad is not an option, the customer can also have some paver blocks stacked beside the proposed site for the delivery drivers to use when leveling your structure. However, this method might allow settling of the structure in the future.

When you have completed both steps, you are ready for the placement of your structure. Also, keep in mind that this is only our recommendation and does not exceed code restriction regulations or any city/county require-ments. Thank you for choosing WayCo Structures LLC!
